Sable Baking is the creation of Ashley Chapman. Sable's recipes are influenced by Chapman's European-style training at the San Francisco Baking Institute, incorporating traditions and styles from rural France to cosmopolitan Sweden and beyond. Sable puts emphasis on natural fermentation (sourdough) and ingredients that highlight the Pacific Northwest's role as a major producer of grains and other agricultural products.
